Ethereum Rug Pull Check & Token Scanner

RugShield · Ethereum · no wallet required

Paste any Ethereum (or other EVM-chain) contract address for an instant rug pull check. Ethereum-style tokens carry their own risk patterns — honeypot logic, mint functions, proxy contracts, and blacklist functions — all checked automatically.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check if an Ethereum token is safe?

Paste the contract address into the scanner. RugShield checks for honeypot signals, active mint functions, renounced ownership, buy/sell taxes, liquidity locks and holder concentration.

What is a honeypot token on Ethereum?

A honeypot token allows buying but blocks selling through hidden logic in the contract's sell function, trapping any funds used to buy it. RugShield simulates the sell path to catch this before you trade.

Is a token safe if ownership is renounced?

Not automatically. Some contracts renounce the owner role cosmetically while routing the same privileged functions through a second address or a proxy contract. RugShield checks what renouncing actually disabled.

Does RugShield check BNB Chain and other EVM tokens too?

Yes. Any EVM-compatible chain contract can be scanned the same way — the checks (honeypot, mint, ownership, liquidity, holders) apply across Ethereum, BNB Chain and other EVM networks.
